Youth Helping Youth Seeks New Members!

If you are interested in working with kids, being a leader, and making a difference in your community this year then you should consider joining Youth Helping Youth; a high school group that is partnered with East Haddam Youth & Family Services. Members of YHY dedicate time to providing positive experiences for the youth of our community, being role models, and encouraging others to make healthy decisions. In the upcoming school year, we plan to work with elementary and middle school kids in events including Family Nights, Homework Hangout and 4th & 5th Grade Socials. In addition to hosting the sixth annual Polar Plunge fundraiser, we also plan to organize prevention activities in the community for Prom and Graduation.

YHY meetings occur once every two weeks during the school year and are held at the Youth and Family Services building. We will be recruiting members in the fall and hope to see lots of new faces! If you are interested in learning more about this group, you can email our officers at youthhelpingyouthclub@gmail.com for more details or text @YHY2 to 81010 so we can add you to our contact list.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Sincerely,

President Sierra Cazassa & Vice President Shayna Moffat
